Malindu Exports (Pvt) Ltd found its beginnings in the cabinet making business in Sri Lanka in 1997, a time in which there was a demand for a local business that integrated quality, innovation and custom design solutions within the Sri Lankan market.
Our latest European style cabinetry and expertise within the international cabinetry techniques in 2019 helped us unveil our refreshed brand identity to “Home of Kitchens Sri Lanka (Malindu Exports)” early this year. While we have rebranded our company, our core beliefs haven’t changed. We continue to manufacture cabinetry using world-class technology and high-end equipment. At Home of Kitchens Sri Lanka (Malindu Exports) we are continually updating our knowledge and skills to keep our efficiency at its peak, which means our clients get the highest quality products at attractive prices. We strive to provide each customer with high quality custom manufactured products while living up to our motto which states “Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten”.
We boast our recent expansion to our 25,000 sq. ft. design-built facility which we own, this allows us long term stability and control of our operations, while the increased space allows us to increase our output, efficiency and capacity. This space also supports us to house with our high-end machinery which uses CAD and CAM systems. Craftsmanship and superior customer service have always been and will continue to be at the heart of our business.

Project Management
We have a proven commitment to hiring and training an excellent group of local technical detailers and project managers to support the development of large-scale projects. Unlike many of our competitors we are not limited by providing a pre-manufactured product line or providing clients with an imported kitchen designs.
We realize that there are many ways to accomplish a task, at Home of Kitchens Sri Lanka (Malindu Exports) our focus is to put the clients’ needs first with an un-wavering focus on building their project the right way. In today’s construction industry job sites have an increasingly tight schedule. Our team understands that it’s crucial to the overall success of the project and we are committed to ensure that deliveries are made on-time and complete.
Design
Our dedicated design team comprise of 5 local staff, who have over 20 years combined experience to help turn our clients’ vision into reality. We strive to constantly have the most current and innovative materials available.
Once a client confirms their order a member of our design team will sit with you and design a 3D draft of your proposed order to make your design dreams come to life. We are the first local company that provides our clients with a complete walk through of their product prior to the manufacturing begins.
We have partnered with the best international software to allow us to provide custom specified products at a reasonable price.
Manufacturing & Innovations
At Home of Kitchens Sri Lanka (Malindu Exports) our factory includes some of the finest machinery available in the local market. Most of our machinery links directly from our Design Room to the Machine Shop giving us an extremely accurate and virtually seamless method of transferring your project from conception to fabrication.
As Home of Kitchens (Malindu Exports) we strive for excellence in our standards of fabrication and selection of materials. We believe that only the highest standard of quality is acceptable, and we do not compromise Quality for Money – which is why our construction methods reflect only what is called out in the American Woodworking Institute’s (AWI) strict Premium Grade standards.
Our Team
Dr. Gamini was the founder of Malindu Exports in 1997 and has over 22 years’ experience in trading and furniture making in Sri Lanka. Dr. Gamini was granted a Doctorate in Philosophy as a result of his achievements in the industry. Dr Gamini holds a passion in education and is also currently the CEO of Oxford College of Business.
Mrs. Dhammika is the head of finance of organisation, has supported the company since its inception in 1997. Mrs Dhammika manages the financial, accounting aspects of the organisation as well as any required client needs.
Mr. Ramindu, holds an undergraduate in Business management and cabinet detailing qualifications attained in Australia. Ramindu has over a decade of work experience in the field of CNC furniture making within the Sri Lankan and Australian industry. He currently manages technical and client services and manages all programming and CNC work.
Mr. Jayalath is one of our newest team members, he has over 8 years overseas experience in the field of carpentry and carving. He holds experience in a range of machinery, and he is our factory foreman.
Mr. Suwas, 22 years of age holds over 1.5 years’ of experience in the field of interior design. Suwas works within our design team.
Mr. Kanishks is 39 years old and holds over 12 years’ experience in the field of kitchen marketing and planning. He is our newest kitchen planning and marketing executive.
Mr. Fernando, 67 years of age holds over 35 years of experience in the field. He has worked within the industry in over 7 countries and has a wide knowledge in the industry. He is our Factory Co-ordinator and is one of our senior employees of the company.
Mr. Ajith, 54 years of age, Ajith is one of our long-standing employees with over 10 years’ experience within the company. He is the head carpenter of our manufacturing team.
Mr. Imesh- 28 years of age, with over 4 years’ experience in the field. Mr Imesh is also one of our newest members of our team. He is one our carpenters in our manufacturing team.
Mr. Nijith – 38 years of age has been employed with the company for over 10 years. He is a qualified electrician and supports us with troubleshooting and electrical tasks.
Ms Senitha has over 16 years’ experience in accounting and has been employed with us for over 10 years.
Ms Anodhya is our newest member in our finance team. She has 1-year experience in the field.
Mr Ariyadasa has over 9 years experience with us. He is one of the office assistants and helps with the day to day operation of the business.
Mr. Sumith is 64 years of age with over 10 years experience within the company. He is one of the office assistants and helps with the day to day operation of the business.
Mrs. Renuka- 48 years of age holds 7 years’ experience with our company. Mrs Renuka supports us with housekeeping duties.
Mr. Baalan- 45 years of age with over 15 years’ experience in the field. Mr Baalan has been with the company for over 10 years and is responsible for the housekeeping tasks.
